Expose Scam 2025: Cruise Ship Job Scam – blueseastar.in

Scammers are aggressively targeting job seekers in the cruise ship and maritime industry with a new wave of fake recruitment schemes. Operating under names like Blue Sea Star, these fraudsters are exploiting the dreams of hardworking individuals by creating entirely fake companies with one goal: to steal your money.

How the Scam Works:

These fraudsters use convincing tactics to appear legitimate. Here’s what they typically do:

Register multiple fake companies with professional-looking websites and logos
Send fake offer letters claiming to provide cruise ship jobs on international vessels
Demand multiple types of fraudulent fees, such as:

  • FAKE Marine Membership Fees

  • FAKE Registration Charges

  • FAKE Medical Examination Fees

  • FAKE Visa Processing or Clearance Charges

  • No Valid GST Number or Government Certification

Once they collect your money, they vanish. There is:

  •  No real recruitment

  •  No cruise ship contract

  •  No visa issued

Their only goal is to exploit job seekers for financial gain—not to provide employment.

The Blue Sea Star Deception

BlueSeaStar.in presents itself as a global recruitment agency offering attractive jobs in the shipping, cruise, and oil & gas sectors. The website claims to provide job placements across Europe, the Gulf, and Southeast Asia.

But in truth, this company is a scam:

  •  No government approval or maritime licensing

  •  No affiliation with verified cruise or shipping companies

  •  No track record of actual placements

  •  Fake contact details and unverifiable credentials
